Best Dentists in Costa Rica?

I am looking to get some dental work done in Costa Rica - including some cosmetic work. Who are some of the best dentists in Costa Rica?

Well, it's difficult and subjective to say who the best dentists are, but there are many great dentists located in and around San Jose. The one dentist I have experience with is Meza Dental Care, which I found through a Medical Tourism book. There I had a general check-up and a couple fillings done. Their office was super clean with modern dental equipment, and their prices were pretty reasonable - certainly better than what I would have paid at home and in line with the better dental clinics in San Jose. Another dental clinic recommended by my Medical Tourism guide book was Prisma Cosmetic Dentistry, which is a well established clinic with modern equipment and an on-site lab. They've been featured in numerous articles and about half their clientele are Americans, Canadians, and Europeans. They can be reached toll free from the States at 1-866-741-8194.

There are numerous other good dentists though, many of whom are members of US dental organizations and who have trained abroad - just make sure to do some research first. Thanks for the question!
